Leisure - Varshets
Varshets is a wonderful place for rest, sport, climato-treatment and balneo-tretament. Varshets is situated near venerable forests, whimsical rock formations, and beautiful and diverse landscapes of the mountain crown Koznitsa. This makes Varshets a convenient destination for different types of tourism.
Sightseeing
City forest park - The Park occupies an area of 800 ha and is the second largest in Bulgaria after Borisova garden in the city of Sofia. Created at the beginning of the last century (1911-1912) under the direction of the first balneology doctor Dr Damian Ivanov. It is afforest mostly with coniferous trees and the most valuable plant species are: lirovo wood, cedar, duglazka fir-tree, fir-tree konkolorka, silver spruce, ginkgo biloba, magnolia, paradise apple and others. In the park are located Roman steps and the alcove of the goddess of the health - Higiya.The boulevard with planes - a pedestrian zone. The zone is long around 2 km. The trees are of age almost 100 years and their crowns form a large green tunnel.

The Bansko casino is located in the center of the town of Varshets and is part from the Architectural ensemble bathrooms - Park Solar garden. It was built in 1922 and in the thirties years is electrified. The casino is visited from Prince Cyrila and therefore to this day calls it "king’s casino”.
Within 12 kilometers of the town of Varshets below the peak Todorini kukli / 1785 m / is situated the Klisurski monastery (12-13th century). It is one of the outbreaks for development of Bulgarian education and literature, to promote the Christian religion of the Bulgarian nationality and autocracy. Iconostasis in the church of the monastery is declared for a cultural monument.
Temple St. George the Victorious – Cross-cupola basilica. Its construction began in 1902 and the iconostasis was completed in 1906. The temple is declared for a cultural monument of local importance.
Municipal Museum - The exhibition contains 4 sections: Ancient, Archaeological finds and coinage collection, Balneology and Ethnography.
City Art Gallery has 664 paintings and 27 sculptures from wood, clay and gypsum.
The Waterfall represents the two water falls cascade downstream of the river Orloshtitsa - wonderful place for recreation. It is situated within 5 kilometers south of the town of Varshets.
Ivanchova polyana – The multiple paths of the park are with a total length of around 7 kilometers and each of them leads to the famous Ivanchova polyana. From here reveal great views down to the city, up to the mountain and to the top Todorini kukli.
Hut White Water - 7 kilometers. The place White water is situated on 774 m. see-level.
